February...2009 Monthly Feature

In the demanding and competitive automotive after sales market it's the simple ideas that always do best, regardless of what car you drive...people will always add their own personal touch...to make it there own.

And with the Automotive industry in the western world feeling the credit crunch sales are down in every segment of the market, from the mighty Mercedes-Benz and Porsche to the humble, affordable Kia Rio. therefore most people are deciding to upgrade there current choice of car...spend a little on what they have instead of laying out thousands on the latest model.

There are many ways to "upgrade" personalize your car, it could be a new set of wheels, yes they look nice but are also very expensive...maybe a new paint job...tweak the engine maybe!...how about a new spoiler. They all sound like good ideas, but why change something if there is nothing wrong...like the saying goes "if it;s not broken don't fix it". By now you are probably thinking to yourself "what's he going on about. well I am talking about a fantastic product that's simple...affordable and will had a touch of class and personalization to you car, both old and new. I must admit this will only appeal to those who own convertibles...sorry coupe owners.

Home of Wind RestrictorWe came across a small company in the USA manufacturing Wind Blockers...but these are no ordinary blockers...the wind Blockers (Wind Restrictors) do more than  just keep your hair tidy. Most convertible owners purchase a Wind Restrictor because they want something that will deflect wind turbulence in their cabin when driving a speeds over 40 mph with the windows up.

The added feature of wind Restrictor is the custom made laser etched graphics and illumination. This amazing feature adds the perfect unique touch to any roadster that really sets their car apart from all others. I say that it is an absolute must have.

King Penn Wind RestrictorWind Restrictor , a division of King Penn Industries, was founded by Robert King Pennington who in 1997 went through a liver transplant and battled to save the remainder of his life.  Robert felt his ideas and talents were inspired by God and money never came first in his business.  The prices of Wind Restrictor products are reasonable and the quality is superb according to thousands of satisfied customers. Unfortunately Robert lost his battle with his health and was called away on April 24th of 2007.

Just before his passing he was approached by many dealerships and other automotive companies, to expand his product line and business, and he realized this could no longer be a small home based business that he could handle just on his own. Upon his passing his amazing God-loving family, who have stood by him, and believed in him have chosen to continue his legacy by taking the business to the next level.  Wind Restrictor is growing, bringing out new products and carrying on business in a way that Robert would be proud.

Porsche desgineIt is Robert's vision and desire to offer the best wind blockers (Wind Restrictor ) on the market today that not ONLY offer the deflection of wind turbulence but at the same time offer the patent pending features of illumination and high-end laser etchings to promote your roadster, business or car club.

Robert King Pennington sold this first Wind Restrictor around 2004-2005. The first car that he made the Wind Restrictor for was his own Mercedes SLK. He first called it the wind resistor and then in late 04- early 05 he did his research to insure there were no other usages of the word wind restrictor, and begin to call his product the Laser-Etched and Illuminated Wind Restrictor! We named Robert's company after him: Robert King Pennington hence - KingPenn Industries, Inc. (Incorporated in Jan. of 2007).

He was getting behind on his orders because of his sickness (liver failure) and needed our help. There are approximately 10-15 employees at wind restrictor.com, ranging from production, to sales, to research and development, web design etc.. etc..."
