Who are Tech 9 Motorsport There mission is to be renowned as the best Porsche engineers in the World by continually ensuring the highest standards of performance and reliability in sales, customer service and Porsche racing activities. Tech 9 Racing Tech 9's achievements in GT racing are among the best Porsche teams in Europe. As reigning British GT champions for the past three years, An achievement never before seen in the history of the championship. Not only are Tech 9 successful on the race track they are the leading Independent Porsche Specialists in the UK. Renowned as being among the best Porsche Engineers in the World Tech 9 continually push to ensure that the highest standards of performance and reliability reach the highest standards in sales, customer service and Porsche racing activities.
Established in 1995, Tech 9 Motorsport are the reigning British GT Champions for the past three years and are the leading race team in the Northwest of England. Racing for some is a passion, for others a core business but for team boss, Phil Hindley, it is both of these. Due to the outstanding success of the team, Tech 9 has built a customer base of dedicated Porsche drivers who seek the same standards of preparation for their vehicle that is required to produce racecars that win championships.Phil began grass track racing in 1986 and made his debut in circuit racing in 1992: "I bought a crashed Porsche in 1991, rebuilt it and raced it through 1992, until the formation of the Porsche Cup the following year. After a few seasons racing, Tech 9 Motorsport was formed." British Porsche Cup 1995-96 In the 1996 season, the team campaigned in the British Porsche Cup and won eight out of thirteen races making Tech 9 undoubtedly the team to beat. Tech 9 prepared a Porsche 964 C2 for Phil, and a new model 993 for driver Mark Hales – breaking records as the first race prepared 993 model in the UK. In 1997, Tech 9 looked for a new and more exciting challenge and turned their focus to The TVR Tuscan Challenge. As the Porsche Cup was based on standard cars with the minimum of modifications, the team decided that experience with GT modified cars was required. Was not until 2000 that Tech 9 moved back to racing Porsche's. British GT Championship 2003-04-05 In
2005 Tech 9 stormed to victory for the third time in the final round of
the British GT
Championship. To reaffirm that the commitment, Dedication and Skill
that is required to win chmpionships Still Burns Bright within the Tech
9 squad.

Future The European Le Mans Endurance Series The European Le Mans Endurance Series is concidered to be the toughest environment for GT racing. The 2005 season saw Tech 9 enter three rounds of the 1000km serie's, at Monza, Silverstone and Nurburgring. A Porsche GT3RSR with a variety of different drivers enabled the team to gather vital experience with a view to a full campaign for 2006. The highlight was a finish in gruelling German race 8th in class.
