we have real treat for you, Swedish Porsche race diver Jenna Brorsson. The name Brorsson is normally associated with "Tommy Brorsson" a successful and legendary fivefold European Champion historic race driver from Switzerland. Jenna, daughter of Tommy is a relatively still a new comer to the racing world, but has proved that she has the same skills of her father when it comes to motor racing in a very short time. Jenna first started racing in 2001after she participated in a test day in her fathers (Tommy Brorsson) lotus Cortina at the age of 25, she certainly had her fathers pedigree and soon after took here racing license and shortly after drove in her first competition in the very same car. ![]() Jenna leads the way in her first race. Since that first race back in 2001 Jenna has competed in Historic racing in different Saloon and GT cars as well as a few European Championship races with father Tommy. Jenna raced a Porsche 962 CK-10 in the Group C GTP Racing Championship from 2001 to 2005 for owner Claes Wahlund the car was totally dismantled and rebuilt complete with full crack testing to comply with Group C GTP Racing's Sporting Code by the Kermer Brothers. Unfortunately the car was destroyed in fire at the back end of the season last year leaving Jenna without a car the 2006 season. 1991 Kermer Brothers built Porsche 962 CK-10 owned by Claes Wahlund It was in 2004 when Jenna first got into a Porsche GT2 and successfully competed in the Scandinavia Porsche Carrera Cup and came 7th overall in the championship for Two part competiotions, Jenna also drove for the same team in 2005 where she came 6th overall only 66 points behind her team mate Fredrik Ross. Jenna is a strong contender in the Porsche Carrera Cup Jenna joins a long list of Female drivers racing in the top fight of motorsport and has the talent to go all the way to the very top and compete among the best in world. this year Jenna will be driving for Puma Racing, and she will not be the only female driver on the team. Jenna will share the car with drivers Marie Carisson and Janina Eakangas, not only that but in fact the entire team is made up of females proving the point that motorsport is not a male only sport. ![]() Team puma is a all female team ![]() Jenna Brorsson is one to look out for the future and maybe one day we will see her driving at the 24 Hours of Le Mans "We hope so" we at porschesport.com would like to see more Ladys involved in motorsport. Jenna also has a very successful full time job has Operations Consultant Manger for Swedish company Svensk Mc Donald's AB.
