Memory of Bob Wollek
The 2005
Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring was the fourth anniversary of the loss
of sports car racing legend Bob Wollek, the team driver for Petersen
White Lightning in 2001, Bob Wollek was killed in a bicycle accident
shortly before that' years 12 Hour race. In respect to the racing
great, Petersen White Lightning withdrew from the event in 2001.In 2005
the team honored Wollek with a GT2 class victory, Wolleck's memory is
ever constant with the team but nowhere is stronger than at Sebring.
