“We are very much looking forward to finally being able to work with Ayhancan, who even at his rather young age is already an experienced Supercup race winner and definitely championship material. He will be a great addition to our driver line-up, a very valuable asset to the team. I very well remember our first conversation at the Porsche Night of Champions at Weissach in 2018 – we immediately got on very well and have stayed in touch ever since. Later on I introduced him to my father, remarking that ´this is a driver to be signed by Lechner Racing sooner or later.´ So I am very happy that this cooperation is now becoming reality!”
