Joe Marshall crowned 2026 Porsche Carwow Sprint Challenge GB champion

Esports star Joshua Rogers (Team Parker Racing) took another hat-trick of victories at Brands Hatch, bringing his real-world racing debut season to an impressive close. Rogers was followed home on all three occasions in Kent by Joe Marshall (Team Parker Racing), whose results saw him crowned as champion in the final race of the season. The duo completed a clean sweep for Team Parker Racing, who took victory in all 18 races of 2026.

James Seale (Xentek Motorsport) from Hampshire drove to RS Am category victory in Round 16, and there were two wins for Daniel Lewis (Race Car Consultants) from Essex, as he was named category champion. Meanwhile, 2026 Clubsport champion Gabe Fairbrother (Graves Motorsport) from Chester continued his dominance, racing to three category wins. The season finalé saw Porsche bid farewell to the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport and 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport, with both cars set to be replaced by the new 911 Challenge in 2027.

A trio of victories for Joshua Rogers in RS Pro
Rogers continued his pace from Friday’s Practice sessions by taking pole position for Rounds 16 and 17 by a clear margin. He would start both races with title rival Marshall alongside on the front row of the grid. Marshall beat Rogers to the first corner at the start of the weekend’s opening race, leaving Rogers trailing in second, and with Dan Zelos (Graves Motorsport) from Norfolk in third. With five minutes of racing complete, Rogers mounted a challenge on Marshall, getting to the inside by Sheene Curve to take the race lead.

In the closing stages of the race Zelos received a five-second time penalty for exceeding track limits, but it did not impact his finishing position. And in the final few laps, Ethan Hammerton (Graves Motorsport) from North Yorkshire, Matthew Kyle-Henney (Clean Racing) from Hampshire, and Samuel Harvey (Xentek Motorsport) from Sutton Coldfield fought for fourth, fifth, and sixth, though the deadlock could not be broken. Rogers took his ninth win of the season, with Marshall and Zelos joining him on the overall podium. The result kept the overall championship battle alive, with Rogers now trailing Marshall by 11 points.

Rogers got away cleanly from pole position to lead Marshall through the first corner at the start of Round 17. In a repeat of the first race, Zelos slotted into third place, but only after fending off the advances of Harvey, who then engaged in a battle with Hammerton for fourth at Graham Hill Bend. With five minutes of racing complete, Hammerton moved to pass Harvey in the run to Surtees where there was contact, with Harvey striking the barriers, and Hammerton leaving the circuit before continuing. The Safety Car was scrambled to allow for the recovery of Harvey’s stricken car.

The race restarted with only one lap remaining, and there were no changes to the order. Rogers took his second win of the weekend, with Marshall finishing in second, and Zelos completing the podium once more. Following the race, for his incident with Harvey, Hammerton was disqualified from the results, while Harvey would take no further part in the Brands Hatch weekend. The overall championship battle between Marshall and Rogers would go down to the final race of the season.

Rogers led Marshall at the start of the championship decider, Zelos took third after fending off the advances of Kyle-Henney in the opening corners. On lap three Hammerton took a trip through the gravel trap at Paddock Hill Bend before rejoining the race, in doing so he fell from sixth to eighth overall. Newcomer Colin Cronin (CCK Motorsport) from County Cork, Ireland, attacked RS Am’s Lewis for fourth, and halfway through the race he got ahead using the inside line at the first corner. Christopher Bingham (Raceworks Motorsport) from Nottinghamshire soon replicated Cronin’s move on Lewis.

Rogers took the flag making it a trio of wins at Brands Hatch, and by finishing second, Marshall was crowned 2026 champion. Once more the Team Parker Racing duo were joined on the overall podium by Zelos. And with his results from the weekend in Kent, Bingham was named Talent Pool Programme champion.

Lewis takes RS Am category glory
Lewis was the fastest RS Am category driver in qualifying, and he would start the weekend’s first and second races in a prime position. At the start of Round 16 Seale emerged ahead, with Lewis and Reece Somerfield (Breakell Racing) from Walsall in the West Midlands giving chase. RS Pro category racer Lydia Walmsley (Clean Racing) from Kesgrave in Suffolk, and RS Am championship leader, Lewis, soon diced for position, with Walmsley in front. The category order remained the same to the flag, with Seale taking his third win, Lewis finished second with Somerfield in third. And with his result from the weekend’s opening race, Lewis was crowned RS Am category champion for 2026.

Lewis led the RS Am category drivers at the start of Round 17, with Seale in second and Somerfield in third. The Safety Car soon neutralised the race, and following the restart the order remained the same to the flag. Lewis took his eighth category win of 2026, and he was joined on the podium by Seale and Somerfield. Lewis was the leading RS Am driver in the final race of the season too, with Seale occupying second, and with Dean Burden (Toro Verde GT) from Lincolnshire in third. On the second lap local racer Matthew Briers (Toro Verde GT) from Tonbridge in Kent found the barriers at Druids – he rejoined the race but quickly retired. Lewis maintained the RS Am lead to the flag, and he was joined on the final category podium of the year by Seale and Burden.

Fairbrother wins again in Clubsport
Fairbrother was quickest in Saturday’s qualifying session by approximately one full second – he would start from category pole position for Rounds 16 and 17. At the start of Saturday’s first race, Gracie Mitchell (Graves Motorsport) from Teesside leapt ahead of Fairbrother, while Alister Weston (Xentek Motorsport) from Kent got in front of Giancarlo Romano (Tuthill UK) from Glasgow. However, on the second lap Fairbrother took the lead from Mitchell, while Romano snatched the final podium spot. And that is how the oder remained to the flag, with Fairbrother enjoying his fifteenth category win of the season.

The second race of the weekend was led by Fairbrother, with Mitchell in second and Romano in third until the Safety Car arrived. And after the race restarted the order remained the same, with Fairbrother, Mitchell, and Romano replicating the day’s earlier podium. Fairbrother led Mitchell and Romano again in the final race of 2026, and the order remained the same throughout the race, with Fairbrother enjoying his seventeenth category win of the season – one victory short of a perfect season.

The 2026 champions will be crowned at a special ceremony in November, before Porsche looks ahead to the championship’s exciting evolution in 2027, and the introduction of the new 911 Challenge.
