After a 2025 season crowned by three championship titles, Manthey will also compete in the DTM in 2026. The team will field two latest-generation Porsche 911 GT3 R at the eight race weekends in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands.

The 2023 DTM champion and Porsche works driver Thomas Preining will again drive the No. 91 car in his fourth year together with Manthey in the series. Together with Manthey, the Austrian has already won six times in the DTM and was able to clinch an additional ten podium finishes. New to the DTM line-up is Porsche driver Ricardo Feller, who has experience in series production. He already made his debut for the team at the 24 Hours of Daytona in January in a "Grello" Porsche used in the IMSA endurance races. From April 2026, he will now also be at the wheel of the No. 90 nine-eleven for Manthey in the ADAC Sprint Series. From his four years of DTM experience, the Swiss brings a record of three victories and seven podium finishes into 2026.

"After our successes in the DTM in 2025, we are very much looking forward to the new sprint season. Thomas will be competing with us for the fourth year in a row and I think this consistency is a big advantage. The mutual trust that results from the joint successes and experiences is very great and the joint processes are perfectly rehearsed. We are very pleased that Ricardo is joining the team as our second driver. He not only brings a breath of fresh air, but also a lot of DTM experience and can boast an impressive track record in the series. Our first race together already took place at Daytona and I'm convinced that we'll quickly become a well-rehearsed team in the DTM as well. Of course, we would also have been happy to start another sprint season with Ayhancan and Morris after clinching three championship titles together. Nevertheless, I am happy that they will both remain with our team and will now compete in the WEC and IMSA," explains Patrick Arkenau, Head of Racing at Manthey Racing GmbH.

"2025 was an extraordinarily successful year for us in the DTM. Seven wins this season, four more podiums and three championship titles – it's still unbelievable to me what we've been able to achieve as a team and I'm incredibly proud. However, we haven't rested after the successes, but want to start the new season just as well prepared and motivated. I'm excited to see what we can achieve together with Thomas and Ricardo," adds Nicolas Raeder, Managing Director of Manthey Racing GmbH.

The DTM season opener will take place from April 24 to 26 at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg. The race calendar then takes the teams to Zandvoort in the Netherlands in May, before six more race weekends in Germany in the course of the year as usual. The champions of the 2026 sprint season will be crowned as usual in October at the Hockenheimring.

Drivers' comments on the 2026 DTM season:

Ricardo Feller, Porsche 911 GT3 R #90: "I'm really happy to continue to be part of the DTM, now in my fifth season. Moving to Manthey is a dream come true for me. I think every Porsche driver would like to drive for this team and the successes – two titles in three DTM seasons – speak for themselves. Regardless of the sporting results, however, I am also enthusiastic about the team itself, the people and the professionalism that distinguish Manthey. I am very much looking forward to working with them and am convinced that we will experience a strong and successful season together."

Thomas Preining, Porsche 911 GT3 R #91: "I'm very happy that the DTM is continuing and that I'm now starting my fourth season with Manthey. The cooperation with the team has become closer and closer over the years and the processes are now excellently rehearsed. In the past three years, we've shown that we can consistently fight for the championship. You can never predict whether everything will work out in the end, but I'm in good spirits, I'm having a lot of fun working with the team and the DTM as a whole and I'm already looking forward to the first race!"
