Three class wins and two second places for BLACK FALCON in NLS

At round 3 of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS), BLACK FALCON built on the performance of the season opener three weeks earlier and achieved a strong haul of three class wins and two second places.

The team from Meuspath once again fielded seven cars in five different classes and, as at the start of the season, fielded the Porsche 911 GT3 R of BLACK FALCON Team EAE, the best AM vehicle in the entire field. In addition to the convincing class victory in the SP9-AM category, the driver trio was also able to achieve a strong seventh place in the overall standings. After the four-hour race, there was also great joy for the AV Racing by BLACK FALCON team, which clinched a one-two victory in the SP10 class with the two BMW M4 GT4 EVOs. The third success of the day was achieved by the BLACK FALCON Team FANATEC with the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup and the win of the AT2 class. The strong team result was rounded off by the second place of BLACK FALCON Team ZIMMERMANN in the fiercely contested Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring (PETN).

BLACK FALCON Team EAE
BLACK FALCON Team EAE laid the foundation for the second victory in the second race of the season in the 90-minute qualifying session. Although this was marked by numerous caution phases and Code 60 phases, Daan Arrow, Mustafa Mehmet Kaya and Mike Stursberg caught good timing for a fast lap and put the Porsche 911 GT3 R (#5) on pole position in the SP9-AM class as well as on a strong sixth position overall. In the race, BLACK FALCON Team EAE then mixed up the strong PRO cars, especially in the early stages, and delivered some duels worth seeing within the top 10 of the overall standings. In the end, Arrow, Kaya and Stursberg crossed the finish line in a strong seventh place overall. Within the SP9-AM, it was also enough for class victory after the trio had duelled with a Lamborghini Huracán GT3 on an equal footing over the four-hour distance. The well-deserved reward: the renewed honour as the best AM crew on the overall podium of the NLS.

AV Racing by BLACK FALCON
AV Racing by BLACK FALCON achieved a one-two victory in the SP10 class with the two BMW M4 GT4 EVO cars after a brilliant performance. The Americans Malcolm Harrison and David Ogburn (#177 BMW M4 GT4 EVO) took turns at the wheel together with the US-Romanian Alexandru Vasilescu and won in the best weather conditions ahead of their teammates Judson Holt, Denny Stripling and 'Russ Turner', who drove the sister car (#180 BMW M4 GT4 EVO) together. AV Racing by BLACK FALCON thus impressively proved that it is not only competitive within the SP10 AM crews, but can also keep up with the front runners in the overall standings of the SP10 class. Harrison, Ogburn and Vasilescu had already secured pole position in qualifying with the BMW M4 GT4 EVO and then continued this strong performance later in the race.

BLACK FALCON Team FANATEC
After the successful debut of the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup (#632) at the start of the season three weeks ago, BLACK FALCON Team FANATEC once again secured class victory in the AT2 class at NLS 3. Compared to the opening race, 'Jimmy Broadbent', Steve Brown and 'Misha Charoudin' once again showed a significant increase in performance, and the team also made significant progress in setting up the car together with Nordschleife professional Manuel Metzger this weekend. All in all, this paid off so sustainably that the BLACK FALCON Team FANATEC was able to celebrate a place in the top 15 of the overall standings for the first time. In addition, with this result, the driver quartet had the fourth-best GT3 Cup car in the field across all classes.

BLACK FALCON Team ZIMMERMANN
The BLACK FALCON Team ZIMMERMANN also made a big leap forward. After the team, which became "CUP2 PRO-AM Champion" in the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring CUP2 of the PETN last year, narrowly missed out on the podium with fourth place in NLS 2, the time had come: Alexander Hardt, Benjamin Hites and Benjamin Koslowski drove the #900 Porsche 992 GT3 Cup to second place in the fiercely contested CUP2 class. Until the end, the driver trio even fought for victory, which they missed by just three seconds at the finish. In the day's standings, Hardt, Hites and Koslowski also finished in a strong eleventh place overall. After the first two races of the season, BLACK FALCON Team ZIMMERMANN is only 2 points behind the leader in the PETN CUP2 overall standings, which lays the foundation for even more excitement in the further PETN races after the 24h race.

Team LIQUI MOLY by BLACK FALCON
After the great triumph at NLS 2, when the new team LIQUI MOLY by BLACK FALCON was able to celebrate victory in the CUP2 class right on its debut, the three youngsters Ryan Harrison, Raphael Rennhofer and Leon Wassertheurer lacked the necessary luck in NLS 3 despite a strong performance. After contact in the early stages, the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup (#902) had to be parked on lap 14 with damage to the axle suspension. Nevertheless, the driver trio can take a lot of positives from the two opening races and return to the title fight at the NLS 6 in June.

Team BLACK FALCON
In the CUP3 class of the PETN, BLACK FALCON also fielded a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 CS for the first time this season. Axel Sartingen, who shared the cockpit with 'Nils Schwenk' and Simon van Roon, lined up in 14th place after qualifying in the class with 22 cars. In the race, the driver trio moved up to eleventh place in the class after a flawless performance.

Voices and outlook

Alexander Böhm (Managing Director and founder of BLACK FALCON):"After the very successful outing at NLS 3, the ADAC 24h Nürburgring Qualifiers are just around the corner next weekend. We want to put the finishing touches on the 24-hour race there and are looking forward to a great weekend."

Christoph Henkel (Managing Director of BLACK FALCON): "We are very pleased that we were able to build on the excellent start to the season and again collect strong results across all classes. With a total of seven cars, we were once again one of the teams with the largest number of participants in the field this weekend. This requires top performance from the team members. Each and every one of them did a great job again and thus contributed significantly to the success."

The ADAC 24h Nürburgring Qualifiers (17-19.04.2026) comprise two four-hour races, which are also included in the standings of the Nürburgring Endurance Series. Due to the different races for the PETN, BLACK FALCON will start without the two Porsche 992 GT3 Cup of the PETN class CUP2.

The first run will take place on Saturday from 17:30-21:30. The second run will take place on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
