Perfect start to the season - overall podium and five class wins for BLACK FALCON

At round 2 of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS), the season opener of the 2026 NLS, which was delayed by one week, BLACK FALCON was able to make the best start to the season in the team's 20-year history. At the start with seven cars in five classes, the team was able to claim five class victories and third place in the overall standings

The very first appearance of the new Porsche 911 GT3 R from 48 LOSCH Motorsport by BLACK FALCON was rewarded with third place in the overall standings and victory in the SP9 PRO-AM class. The sister car of BLACK FALCON Team EAE was also extremely successful: In addition to 16th place overall, the driver trio took victory in the SP9 AM class. The LIQUI MOLY by BLACK FALCON team was able to win the CUP2 class with the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup on its debut in the fiercely contested Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring (PETN).

BLACK FALCON Team FANATEC also achieved a debut victory in the AT2 class, in which BLACK FALCON competed for the first time since the team was founded in 2006. In addition, AV Racing by BLACK FALCON secured victory in the AM classification of the SP10 class. In total, all seven cars entered reached the finish line with top positions after the four-hour race. The 100% arrival rate crowned the historically best NLS season opener for BLACK FALCON.

48 LOSCH Motorsport by BLACK FALCON

After two extremely successful years in the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring CUP2 (PETN), a new chapter began for Team 48 LOSCH Motorsport by BLACK FALCON at the 58th ADAC Barbarossapreis with the brand-new Porsche 911 GT3 R (#48): Patrick Assenheimer, Tobias Müller and Dylan Pereira delivered a more than convincing debut and offered the 25,000 spectators along the Nürburgring Nordschleife a great show with intense duels right from the start. After four hours, the trio initially crossed the finish line in fourth place overall, but moved up to third place due to the later disqualification of the winner. In the end, they were just 4.2 seconds short of the eventual overall winner, which underlines the high-performance performance once again. Assenheimer, Müller and Pereira also secured the unchallenged victory in the SP9 PRO-AM class.

BLACK FALCON Team EAE

At the start of the season, BLACK FALCON Team EAE picked up where it left off last year with the Porsche 911 GT3 R, namely at the top of the SP9 AM class. Mustafa Mehmet Kaya, Gabriele Piana and Mike Stursberg, who will be competing with the number 5 car this year, were also honoured on the overall winners' podium as class winners. In addition, BLACK FALCON Team EAE achieved 16th place in the overall standings, which is a more than remarkable achievement in view of 26 top-class GT3 cars.

Team LIQUI MOLY by BLACK FALCON

The LIQUI MOLY by BLACK FALCON team, which was fielded for the first time, also celebrated a tailor-made debut: After a dramatic fight with an extremely close finish, Ryan Harrison and Leon Wassertheurer drove together with BLACK FALCON newcomer Raphael Rennhofer to the opening victory in the CUP2 class of the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring (PETN). The youngsters, who are all part of the Porsche Talent Pool 2026, thus demonstrated their great talent, as this is the first full season with the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup (#902) for all three drivers.

BLACK FALCON Team ZIMMERMANN

After winning the title "CUP2 PRO-AM Champion" in the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring CUP2 (PETN) 2025, BLACK FALCON Team Timmermann has moved up to the PRO category of the CUP2 class of the PETN this season. They immediately caused a stir in the morning qualifying: With a lap time of 8:07.795 minutes, Alexander Hardt put the #900 Porsche 992 GT3 Cup on pole position in the CUP2 class. In doing so, he rewarded the hard work of the team, which had successfully repaired the car overnight due to a practice accident on Friday evening. In the four-hour race, Hardt and his two fellow drivers, Benjamin Hites and Benjamin Koslowski, finished fourth in class. As a result, the driver trio collected valuable points for the PETN championship at the start of the new season.

BLACK FALCON Team FANATEC

The BLACK FALCON Team FANATEC started the new season with a class victory in the AT2 class (class for alternative fuels). 'Jimmy Broadbent', Steve Brown and 'Misha Charoudin', who drove a BMW M4 GT4 on the Nürburgring Nordschleife last season, got along well with the much more powerful Porsche 992 GT3 Cup (#632) and, together with Nordschleife professional Manuel Metzger, showed a flawless performance. Particularly noteworthy: Overall, the team was the sixth fastest GT3 Cup in the field and thus also left some established PETN teams behind. The driver quartet wants to build on this in the next races.

AV Racing by BLACK FALCON

For AV Racing by BLACK FALCON, the start of the season was also positive with both BMW M4 GT4 EVOs. The two Romanians Sergiu Nicolae and Alexandru Vasilescu finished second in class in the SP10 class together with the American 'Russ Turner' (#177 BMW M4 GT4 EVO), which also meant victory in the AM category for the trio. The sister car with the three Americans Judson Holt, David Ogburn and Denny Stripling (#180 BMW M4 GT4 EVO) took the chequered flag in third place in the AM category and fourth in the overall standings of SP10. This gave the drivers valuable experience in preparation for the 24-hour race.
