Tim Heinemann makes his debut at the KW 6h race
Special debut for Tim Heinemann in the KW ADAC Ruhr-Pokal race: Heinemann will drive a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup for the first time. Commitment for Raceworxx Automotive.
At the KW ADAC Ruhr-Pokal race, Tim Heinemann swaps his usual GT3 cockpit for a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. The 27-year-old from Fichtenberger will compete in the six-hour race of the ADAC Nürburgring Endurance Series for Raceworxx Automotive.
For the racing team from Solingen, he will start together with Oleksiy Kikireshko and Alex Fielenbach. The one-make cup car starts in the strongly contested Cup 2 class. Together, the driver trio will compete in the Pro-Am subclassification in the class of the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring. Heinemann will support the two drivers at the longest round of the ADAC Nürburgring Endurance Series season.
The KW ADAC Ruhr Cup race starts on Saturday at 12:00 noon. Qualifying will take place from 08:30 a.m., which will decide on the starting positions. Fans can follow the entire race day in the extensive livestream of the racing series.
Tim Heinemann (GER):
"Competing in the KW 6-hour race in the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, which is new to me, is of course a completely new experience for me – especially against all the veterans in the Cup 2 class. It certainly won't be easy, but I'm optimistic about it.
I'm looking forward to this new experience and, of course, to collecting more kilometres on the Nordschleife – that's always good.
Therefore, I am looking forward to a hopefully successful weekend with the best weather. What's particularly cool is that my colleagues from the KW workforce will also be on site at the company outing and will keep their fingers crossed for us along the route."
