CarTech Motorsport by Nigrin Redies for Porsche Carrera Cup and Porsche Sports Cup

CarTech Motorsport by Nigrin is heading into the 2021 season with the completely newly developed generation of the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car and the new partner Hartl Group. The team will be fielding two of the brand new racing cars in the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany. For the ninth time in the top series of the Porsche Sports Cup, the Munich-era team is also fighting for points, victories and titles.

In the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany, the new 911 GT3 Cup, which is around 375 kW (510 hp), will serve as a new competitive vehicle from 2021. CarTech announced that they will feilding two cars this season , which were delivered for the first time in silver and not in white, with the active support of sponsors. New on board this year is the Hartl Group is the innovative and dynamic IT services company, which also operates a modern data center in Lower Bavaria, is relying on CarTech's motorsport activities for the first time. "We are delighted to be able to offer the Hartl Group a platform in international racing as well as on traditional German circuits. A good partnership," says team leader David Prusa.

Among other things, the logo of the IT experts from Hofkirchen will be prominently placed on the CarTech racing cars in the Porsche Carrera Cup. The motorsport team of the Porsche Zentrum München Süd is also a new partner. The proven cooperation with Nigrin, which has been in place since 2018, will start in 2021. The car care specialists continue to present themselves under the team name CarTech Motorsport by Nigrin.

Rudy van Buren, 29, is competing in his second season in the Porsche Carrera Cup. The Dutchman, who comes from Sim-Racing, takes the wheel again with the starting number 57 as the winner of the "World's Fastest Gamer". Last year, the Formula E simulator driver immediately joined the fight for front positions and is aiming for the first podium places this year. The sister car with the starting number 55 is piloted by Sebastian Glaser, 42 years old, who moves from historic motorsport to the cockpit of the new 911 GT3 Cup. The Munich-er is fighting for the title in the ProAm class. The Porsche Carrera Cup calendar includes eight race weekends with races as part of the ADAC GT Masters as well as the FIA World Endurance Championship WEC and the DTM. The season opener for the race series in Spa-Francorchamps will take place on 29.4.2021.

Since 2012, CarTech Motorsport by Nigrin has been accompanying the efforts of ambitious racers in the Porsche Sports Cup. The drivers for the popular customer series have been determined. In 2021 there will be a reunion with the CarTech drivers Michael Rosenkränzer, 48 years, and Mike Essmann, 37 years. The third driver this season is experienced motorsport driver Lukas Ertl, 24 years old, for the Prusa motorsport team. His father, Stefan Ertl, and brother Maximilian share the cockpit of the 911 for the long haul.
