Team Joos Sportwagentechnik has two four-hour races coming up this coming weekend on the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

Six weeks after its debut in the ADAC RAVENOL Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, Team Joos Sportwagentechnik returns to the Eifel region. A special weekend lies in store for the team from Vöhringen, as the double-header in the popular endurance championship is on the cards. This means that a four-hour race will be held on both Saturday and Sunday.

Team Joos Sportwagentechnik will line up in both races with a Porsche 911 GT3 R. Michael Joos, Fidel Leib and Marco Lamsouguer will take turns at the wheel of the blue, white and gold Porsche in a design by WattPower on both race days. The trio will compete in the SP9 Am class.

At the KW 6h ADAC Ruhr Cup race – the longest race of the season – the Porsche racing team recently made its debut in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie. Following a strong performance, the team finished the race in third place in the highly competitive SP9 Am class.

For the two upcoming races, the team will once again face strong competition in their sub-class. According to the provisional entry list, seven cars will line up in the SP9 Am class in each of the two races. The double-header will present a particular challenge for the team, as the car must be prepared for the second day of racing after Saturday’s race concludes.

“I’m really looking forward to the weekend, even though I know it will be a challenge for us as a team. We hope that we can once again finish in the top three in the class in both races,” said Team Principal Michael Joos.

The two four-hour races in the ADAC RAVENOL Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie will start at 12:00 on both Saturday and Sunday, with qualifying beginning at 08:30 on both days. Interested fans can follow the entire race day via the official live stream on YouTube.
