Tim Heinemann ready for season opener on the Nordschleife

Finally it starts again! The 71st ADAC Westfalenfahrt marks the start of this year's season in the Nürburgring Endurance Series. Tim Heinemann, who will drive a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup for up2race, will also be there. As in the previous year, Heinemann will compete with former professional footballer Oleksii Kikireshko in selected races in which he does not start in the legendary Falken Porsche. At the second NLS race, the 28-year-old will start in the turquoise and blue Porsche of the Japanese tyre manufacturer.

Heinemann will act as driver coach for Ukrainian Kikireshko and compete with him in the strong Cup 2 class of the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring. In the winter months, Kikireshko competed in the GT Winter Series for pre-season, where he was able to clinch a victory together with Heinemann in Estoril, Portugal.

The 71st ADAC Westfalenfahrt will start next Saturday at 12:00 noon. Qualifying will take place from 08:30 hrs. The entire race day can be followed in the official live stream of the racing series. On Friday, an extensive test day will take place, during which the protagonists can once again get used to the legendary track in the Eifel.

Tim Heinemann (GER):

"The start of the season on the Nordschleife is something very special every year that every driver looks forward to very much! I'm very happy to be able to contest selected NLS races together with Oleksii in the Porsche Cup again this year. He has improved significantly over the winter and I'm excited to see what's in it this year!"
