Duckhams Yuasa Racing gears up for Snetterton as Porsche Carrera Cup GB continues 2025 campaign

Duckhams Yuasa Racing by Graves Motorsport heads to Snetterton in Norfolk this weekend (24–25 May) to contest rounds three and four of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB, once again represented by Scorton-based racer Max Coates.

Having graduated from the Porsche Sprint Challenge GB—where he took the runner‑up spot in a 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport—Max now campaigns a 510 PS Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) machine for his first full season in the championship.

The season began with a promising start at Donington Park last month, where Max secured a Pro‑Am class podium in race two, having earlier set the fastest lap and finished fourth in race one. That form leaves him sitting joint‑second in the standings, just a handful of points behind the current leader. With strong momentum on its side, the team will be eager to close the gap this weekend at Snetterton’s technical 2.96‑mile circuit.

Preparation will be thorough as an official test on Wednesday 21 May will be followed by two 45‑minute free practice sessions on Friday 23 May at 10:35 and 13:55. Qualifying takes place at 11:35 on Saturday, setting the grid for two 20‑lap races on Sunday at 09:55 and 15:15. The Sunday afternoon race will be broadcast live on ITV4, offering fans the chance to follow every twist and turn.

Max Coates

“We had a successful test at Snetterton a few weeks ago, so I can’t wait to head back and see what we can achieve this weekend. We showed good race pace at Donington Park and I’m sure it will transfer over, and we can maintain the momentum. The track is a test of car and driver with high-speed corners and difficult braking zones, as well as great opportunities for overtaking, so it’s challenging but very rewarding. I’m feeling optimistic for a strong weekend and some more silverware.”
