Jeff Giassi faces a new challenge at Velocitta

Jeff Giassi heads into the second round of the 2026 Porsche Cup Brazil season with high motivation. The event is set to take place from March 27 to 29 at the Velocitta Circuit in Mogi Guaçu, São Paulo. Following an impressive start to the championship, highlighted by a Race 2 victory at Interlagos, Giassi is now focused on maintaining his momentum and solidifying his position among the leading contenders in the Carrera Cup.

Despite the confidence gained from his early success, the Velocitta round brings a fresh challenge. Although Giassi is already familiar with the circuit, this will mark his first time competing there in a race car, a factor that could play a significant role in his adaptation over the course of the weekend.

“This will be my first time racing at Velocitta. Even though I know the track, it’ll be my debut there in a race car,” Giassi said.

The round is expected to be strategically important as the season progresses, particularly due to the circuit’s technical and demanding layout. In this context, consistency and the ability to adapt quickly will be key elements in shaping Giassi’s championship campaign.
