Andrew Rackstraw aims for more Porsche Carrera Cup GB race winning success at Snetterton

Andrew Rackstraw aims to continue this 2025 Porsche Carrera Cup GB race winning form when he contests Rounds 3 and 4 of the series at Snetterton (24/25 May) – although as this is the first time since 2022 that the track has hosted a round of the UK’s fastest single-make series, the 23-year old South African driver has never raced a Porsche Carrera 911 GT3 Cup car there before.

The two races will take place on the ultra-fast 2.97 mile Snetterton 300 circuit, which features two of the longest straights in the UK and corners that took inspiration from Monza’s Parabolica and the Montreal Hairpin.

Andrew is no stranger to flat-out racing of course, having won in high-powered prototypes in the South African Endurance series.

Having more recently won Round 2 of the 2025 Porsche Carrera Cup GB at Donington Park, the young Capetonian will be aiming to strengthen his challenge for the Pro title as he arrives at Snetterton lying second in the drivers’ standings, just one point behind the leader, in his Rosland Gold/Investchem/Sparco Porsche Carrera 911 GT3.

“I’m really excited for round two of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB at Snetterton,” says Andrew.

“This will be the first time I’ve raced at Snetterton in a Porsche Carrera 911 GT3 Cup car, nevertheless be sure that I will use the momentum gained in the opening rounds at Donington Park to my full advantage!

“I can’t wait to be back out with Rosland Gold and Century Motorsport to hopefully pick up some more wins and valuable championship points.

“Let’s get back to business!”
